Winchcombe Rewilding Group joins 4th Corner to create a better, greener, and more enjoyable place for all.
Winchcombe Rewilding Group approached 4th Corner and asked our Soft Landscaping Department to deliver a planting and rewilding project at this rural Guinness Housing Partnership development. The Group was keen to ensure that enhanced provision for wildlife was made whilst also encouraging residents to enjoy the natural tranquillity and space offered by this rural location. 4th Corner agreed a planting plan that included varieties of shrubs and flowering plants that would attract birds and insects, providing valuable habitats and nesting sites, as well as food sources for bees, birds and insects.
“The aim with any of these projects is to ensure that both residents and native wildlife are encouraged into a greener, more natural and biodiverse landscape.” – Giorgo Daniel, Head of Soft Landscaping at 4th Corner.
Our Soft Landscaping Team successfully delivered the project and planted mature fruit trees, prolific flowering shrubs and plants and also installed a range of nest boxes and insect homes.
Our maintenance teams will now step in to ensure the continued success of the project by regularly monitoring and enhancing the planting scheme as the trees, plants and wildlife habitats establish themselves.
4th Corner Landscaping are Accredited to the ISO14001 Environmental Management System and have access to the most up to date training and management methods, our environmental experience and expertise enables our teams to be ready to nurture and look after our more natural landscapes as well as the urban parks and gardens.
