Soft Landscaping: Revisiting St Helen & St Katharine School, Abingdon

Over the October half-term, 4th Corner Landscaping revisited St Helen and St Katharine School in Abingdon, where we’d previously completed the new gardens for their Sixth Form Centre last spring.

Our Soft Landscaping team planted a variety of shrubs and trees, including lavender, geraniums, mahonia, honeysuckle and choisya.

The variety of shrubs were chosen to provide year-round interest. Choisya are popular, easy-to-grow evergreen shrubs, with textural leaves and fragrant white flowers. Meanwhile, the bright yellow flowers of mahonia flower from winter to early spring, followed by purple berries throughout the autumn.

Our Soft Landscaping team will be returning in November to plant over a thousand bulbs ready for next spring.
