Soft Landscaping: Show Home, Kingswood Place, Lapworth

4th Corner were contracted by A. C. Lloyd Homes to complete the soft landscaping for this show home in Kingswood Place, Lapworth.

Kingswood Place is a premium development of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes in the historic town of Lapworth. The project started in early February and was completed in just a few days due to a tight deadline.

Our designer and head landscaper Giorgo Daniel was very keen to ensure that this show home garden fitted into the surrounding countryside and also to capture the brief which was to ensure that the garden was suitable for a family with young children.

Giorgo incorporated bee and bug houses and nest boxes to involve children with their surroundings and to bring nature into the garden. Plants and shrubs include; Photinia × fraseri ‘Red Robin’, Phormium pink panther, Aucuba japonica ‘Variegata’, stipa tenuissima, rosemary officinalis, Hebe Rakaiensis, Phormium tenax ‘Variegatum’, Buxus spiral, Euonymus fortunei’ Emerald Gaiety, Corylus avellana ‘Contorta’, Corylus avellana ‘Contorta’, lavender Hidcote, Amelanchier lamarckii, Euonymus fortunei emerald and gold, Brachyglottis dunedin ‘sunshine’, Bergenia ‘Rotblum’, Skimmia japonica, Ilex Aquifolium – tree, Thymus ‘Silver Queen’, and Erigeron karvinskianus.
