Grounds Maintenance Case Study: Buckingham Town Council 2017

Our Grounds Maintenance Contract with Buckingham Town Council commenced in July 2017. We were asked to take the contract on at short notice and are successfully providing a service which delivers the specification has improved the public spaces and gardens of the town. The requirements of the Buckingham Town Council contract include: grass cutting on public highways (including the A421 Buckingham Ring Road), footpaths within the town and all open spaces, amenity areas and recreation grounds. Buckingham Town is within a conservation area and our work is under close scrutiny from Buckingham’s 12,000 residents. We maintain parks and public spaces within Buckingham which include Bourton Park; Chandos Park (and its multi-use games area (MUGA)), overlooking the River Great Ouse; and Stratford Fields, a large recreational area with footpaths, playgrounds, picnic sites, special dog exercising areas and a mile-long exercise circuit around the park. We also cut all hedges and small trees across the contract’s sites. Our operational teams are trained to high horticultural and environmental standards and we always ensure we avoid disturbing wildlife during nesting and hibernating periods.
