4th Corner begin Hedge Planting to Improve Biodiversity in High Wycombe

At the end of January our Soft Landscaping Team started work on this hedge planting project in High Wycombe, in collaboration with the Chilterns Conservation Board.

We were tasked with planting nearly 12,000 2-year-old whips, all of which were UK grown.

They were planted in a double row of mixed species, made up of hawthorn, hazel, field maple, hornbeam, mountain ash, wayfaring tree, purging blackthorn, guelder rose, spindle, dog rose and wild cherry.

Our team will be completing this huge biodiversity project by the end of February, ready to encourage all sorts of wildlife to make these hedges their homes in the coming years.
